A Look Back

Since the beginning of Galleri Tonne, the day-to-day operations have focused on two main areas – the running of the gallery and the restoration studio workshop. A great deal of experience and extensive competence in our field forms a foundation upon which our customers can feel confident and peace of mind is assured.

Over the course of the years, we have had a number of important exhibitions by artists from Norway and abroad in both pre-20th Century and Contemporary Art.

Just to name a few, Severin Grande, Søren Steen Johnsen, Erik Brandt, Fritz Christ, Harald Dahl, Ole Juul, Lilla Hellesen, Amaldus Nielsen, Olav Strømme, Ambrosius Egedius, Erik Brandt, Jo Stang, Søren Steen-Johnsen and the Modum Painters Anders Kongsrud, Andreas Disen, and Chistian Skredsvig have been featured in commemorative exhibitions.
